CFD Engine 109’s new house construction update

Dan McInerney recently visited the construction site for Engine 109’s new fire station and captured a series of photos highlighting the progress being made. The images offer a detailed look at various stages of the project, showing how the facility is taking shape. One photo showcases the north side of the building, focusing on the front entrance and the apparatus bays. All interior work in these areas is now complete, with piping, electrical systems, and Plymovent units already installed and ready for use. Another image captures the rear of the apparatus bays and the hose tower, giving a sense of the scale and design of the structure. Meanwhile, a shot of the north-side parking lot reveals that concrete pavers are being laid, signaling that the exterior work is well underway. A close-up view of the paver installation highlights the attention to detail being given to the station’s exterior. The front entrance area also stands out, with large glass panels planned to provide natural light and a modern aesthetic. A separate photo focuses on the stairwell located on the backside of the hose tower, offering a glimpse into the internal structure of the building. As the project moves forward, more updates will be shared to keep the community informed.
