China's auto parts trade surged by 44%

China's auto parts industry began to experience a global trade surplus in 2005. In 2007, this surplus increased by 83%, and the increase so far this year has reached 44%.

In addition to the auto parts industry, so is the entire vehicle industry. According to the statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to May of this year, the cumulative amount of auto exports reached 20.391 billion US dollars, an increase of 42.16% year-on-year; passenger car exports reached 164,300, an increase of 94.53% year-on-year.

In the first four months, the accumulated total automobile imports amounted to US$10.467 billion, an increase of 36.75% year-on-year.
