However, user complaints about the price, performance, and maintenance of the product are still common. In particular, product maintenance, in the survey found that only about 11% of users are willing to carry out vehicle maintenance in the 4S shop, and more than half of the users will repair and maintain the vehicle at a specific brand of repair station. This shows that the after-sales service of automotive companies has not yet been fully recognized by users.

In the interview, we also learned that some auto companies have paid special attention to the pre-sales and after-sales services of logistics industry users. For example, JAC Heavy Trucks has set up a special department to jointly develop customized heavy truck products with logistics companies. Although this pre-sales and after-sales service for customer customized products is currently limited to only a few large customers, it actually opens the door for communication and cooperation between manufacturers and users. From the perspective of the surveyed respondents, more users’ suggestions for manufacturers are: faster, more economical, more stable, and more convenient.
