Step 1: Un-coiler

Function: Supports rolled plate and strip tension for the ERW pipe mill production line using a frame, main shaft, drum, and brake.

There are three types: pneumatic, hydraulic, and manual.

Step 2: Shear & Butt-Welding

Function: Cuts the ends of each strip coil and welds them together to ensure continuous production of the pipe making welding machine line.

Types: Automatic and manual.

Step 3: Vertical Accumulator

Function: Stores strips to maintain continuous production for the machine to make metal tubes.

Type: Vertical

Advantage: Easy to operate, low investment. Ideal for small size and light wall pipes.

Disadvantage: Limited storage capacity, risk of creasing.

Step 4: Horizontal Accumulator

Function: Stores strips to keep the Round Square Pipe Making Machine Production Line running continuously.

Type: Horizontal

Advantage: Large storage capacity.

Step 5: Forming Section

Function: Forms the tube from the strip.

Step 6: High Frequency Welding

Step 7: Sizing Section of Pipe Making Machine

Function: Sizes the tube to precise dimensions.

Step 8: Flying Saw

Function: Cuts the tube mill line tube to the correct length.

Step 9: Cold Saw Cutting of ERW Tube Mill Line

Function: Cuts the tube to the right length.

Advantage: No noise, no burr, high cutting precision and cross-section.

Disadvantage: Price is four times that of an ordinary flying saw.

Step 10: Run Out Table

Function: Runs out the pipe, packs the pipe for the tube making machine.

Type: Automatic or manual
