In terms of asset size, except for the assets of Toyota Motor Finance Corporation, which fell by 0.57%, the assets of the other seven auto finance companies increased in different degrees in 2016. Among them, BMW Auto Finance ranked first with a total asset size of 88.867 billion and a total asset growth rate of 75.39%. The total assets of SAIC General Motors Finance, Volkswagen Finance and Ford Motor Finance reached 77.765 billion, 48.765 billion and 35.973 billion, respectively. The growth rates were 26.22%, 29.94% and 33.71%, respectively.
In terms of profitability, in 2016, in addition to Toyota Motor Finance, the operating profit of seven auto finance companies achieved positive growth. Among them, Ford Motor Finance Corporation increased by 67.27%, ranking first, BMW and Volkswagen Finance increased by 63.60% and 33.19% respectively, ranking second and third. The growth rate of operating profit of other companies was also above 20%. From the perspective of net profit, the above three auto finance companies ranked slightly differently. Net interest income is the most important source of revenue for auto finance companies and an important indicator for measuring the company's profitability. In 2016, in addition to Toyota Motor Finance, the net interest income of other auto finance companies also achieved rapid growth. Among them, BMW Auto Finance's net interest income growth rate was 41.76%, Chery Huiyin Auto Finance followed closely with 31.59%, Ford Motor's financial interest net income growth rate reached 31.03%, and other auto finance companies also achieved more than 10%. increase.
