Microbes can convert cellulose to ethanol

A new development by the University of Texas at the United States shows that microbes can convert cellulose into ethanol and other biofuels. If the test results are further enlarged and applied to production, it is expected that the United States will provide a large amount of transportation fuel.
According to this result, a blue-colored bacteria can secrete glucose and sucrose in the presence of cellulose. These simple sugars can be used as the main raw material for the production of ethanol.
