Alloy pipe is a kind of seamless Steel Pipe, its performance is much higher than that of general seamless steel pipe, because this type of steel pipe contains more Cr, its high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance performance is much better than other Steel pipe, so the alloy pipe is widely used in petroleum, aerospace, chemical, electric power, boiler, military and other industries. Alloy steel is steel that is alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy steels are broken down into two groups: low-alloy steels and high-alloy steels. The difference between the two is somewhat arbitrary: Smith and Hashemi define the difference at 4.0%, while Degarmo, et al., define it at 8.0%.Most commonly, the phrase "alloy steel" refers to low-alloy steels.
Lianyungang builds Asia's largest dihydroxybenzene plant
On May 12, it was reported that Jiangsu Lianyungang Sanjili Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. has successfully resolved two major technological challenges that had long hindered the industrial production of catechol in China. The company has overcome key issues in the purification of hydroxylated liquids and the final product, and these breakthroughs have passed national evaluation. A 10,000-ton-grade continuous automatic production facility for hydroquinone, built using the newly developed technologies, is expected to be completed and start operations in July this year. This plant is currently the second-largest hydroquinone production facility in Asia.
Located in the Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sanjili is China's largest hydroquinone production base. Through collaboration with Tianjin University, the company has established two quinolol production units with annual capacities of 2,000 tons and 5,000 tons, respectively. The technology used for separating and purifying phenol and hydrogen peroxide to produce benzenediol is independently developed in China and has been patented as a national invention. These advancements mark a significant step forward in China’s chemical industry, enhancing both technical capabilities and market competitiveness.
