How to improve the machining accuracy?

In machining, it is inevitable that errors will occur. If you want to ensure work efficiency, reduce material waste, and reduce labor, you should ensure and improve machining accuracy. So, what are the ways to improve the machining accuracy?

The original error reduction method: If errors are found during production, the main factors affecting the machining error should be found first, and then the methods should be eliminated or reduced. For example, when machining a part with a shape, the shape error of the forming tool and the mounting error of the tool are mainly reduced.

The original error compensation method: artificially create a new error to offset the original error in the process system, when the original error is negative, the human error will take a positive value, otherwise, take a negative value, and try to make the two sizes equal.

The original error transfer method: The original error of the process system, under certain conditions, can be transferred to the non-sensitive direction of the machining error or other aspects that do not affect the machining accuracy. For example: When the accuracy of the machine tool does not meet the requirements for machining the part, you can think of ways from the process or the fixture to create conditions that will shift the machine's geometrical error to areas that do not affect the machining accuracy.

Original error sharing method: If the positioning error is large, some original error method can be used. That is, the original error is divided into n groups according to its size, and the blank error range of each group is reduced to the original 1/n, and then each group is adjusted and processed separately.

Raw error homogenization method: For parts with high requirements for machining accuracy, homogenization method can be used. It is the use of closely related surfaces to compare with each other, find differences from the comparison, and then conduct mutual correction or mutual reference processing, so that the surface of the workpiece is constantly reducing the error and average.

In machining, the machining accuracy error is unavoidable. Only by analyzing the factors affecting the error can corresponding preventive measures be taken to reduce the machining error and improve the machining efficiency.

1. Tube or shell. The Shells are made from steel tube with close tolerance ensuring smooth, Shock free and eccentricity free running with minimum dimensional run out, smallest rotating weight of rollers requires low horse power, thereby conserving power and energy due to lowest possible dynamic friction.

 

2. Seals should be multi labyrinth  type to prevent ingress of dirt, air and moisture. The outer seal should be corrosion resistant.

 

3. Bearing housing are formed from strip steel deep pressed in automatic presses machine, this tolerance allowing a perfect match between the bearing and the relevant parts of the sealing.

 

4.Bearing. Large clearance C3/C4 serials deep groove ball bearings, reinforced cage with big rivet, thick inner ring and outer ring. usually use double sealed structure to improve the water and dust proof ability.

 

5. SHAFT: Shaft is formed from cold drawn round bar and calibrated to ISO to ensure precise assembling of bearing.
