Chicago Working Fire, 12-13-14
A small fire was reported at 4718 W Monroe in the 13th Battalion on December 13, 2014. Fire crews responded quickly and found trash on the first floor, with three separate trash fires on the second floor of an abandoned building. The suspicious nature of the fires prompted an immediate call for OFI (Office of the Fire Inspector). Engine 113 connected to a hydrant and deployed two lines, while Truck 26 made a roof opening. The squad and rescue unit were held en route until further notice.
