2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 7-15-17

This report comes from Eric Haak:

Engine 47 arrived at 6416 S. Cottage Grove Avenue around 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, and reported heavy fire on the second floor as well as through the roof, requesting a "box" response. Just ten minutes later, Battalion 5 confirmed that the fire had spread through the roof, and they were forced to go fully defensive. The incident was soon upgraded to a 2-11 alarm. A similar 2-11 alarm occurred in a neighboring building on July 8, 2012, and photos from that event are available in the site's archives.
