Box Alarm in Skokie, 4-1-15
On Wednesday morning, April 1st, 2015, at 11:00 AM, Skokie firefighters responded to a house fire at 9163 Lincoln Avenue. At the time, several Skokie fire companies were already on EMS calls, which made the situation more challenging. A clear header was displayed for responding units, and a Box Alarm was called before the first unit arrived. This triggered assistance from neighboring departments, including Evanston, Wilmette, and Morton Grove, in addition to units coming off their shifts.
