2-Alarm fire in Elmhurst, 1-26-17 (part 4)
I just got back from covering a significant two-alarm commercial fire that broke out on January 26, 2017, at 351 North York Road in Elmhurst. The situation was intense, and I managed to capture some compelling images that really tell the story of how firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the blaze under control.
The first photo shows firefighters in the street battling the fire, with thick plumes of smoke billowing into the sky. It’s a powerful image that highlights the urgency of their mission. You can almost feel the heat radiating from the flames in the background.
