Still and Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 10-13-20

Late last night, Engine 76 arrived on the scene of a three-story apartment building at 1306-08 North Kildare Avenue to face a massive fire in the back of the structure. Battalion 18 quickly took control of the situation after noticing intense flames engulfing the wooden porches at the rear and spreading to multiple apartments on the second and third floors. Squad 2's Snorkel ladder truck was deployed to use its powerful elevated water cannon to combat the blaze, which had reportedly penetrated the roof. Firefighters moved swiftly to tackle what appeared to be a significant amount of fire, managing to bring it under control relatively quickly.
