Working fire in McCook, 5-24-20

Hey everyone, I just came across some incredible photos shared by Chi-Town Fire Photos of a recent fire that broke out in McCook a few weeks back. It happened on May 24th near the area of 5300 Joliet Rd. From what I gathered, firefighters were dealing with a semi-truck that caught fire inside a commercial building. Talk about a challenging situation! Check out these amazing shots they posted. The first one gives you a great view of the scale of the incident. You can really see how intense it must have been for the crews to get things under control. In the next image, there's another angle that shows the firefighters in action, working hard to contain the flames. There’s also this really striking photo of an E-ONE ladder truck at the scene. It's always impressive to see those massive vehicles in action during emergencies like this. The final picture is probably my favorite—it captures the teamwork and dedication of the firefighters as they tackle the blaze head-on. Props to Chi-Town Fire Photos for sharing such powerful visuals. It really highlights the bravery and skill of our local fire departments when they face situations like this. Let’s hope everyone involved stayed safe, and kudos to the firefighters for their hard work! Stay safe, folks! — A concerned citizen
